VDOT is hosting a third round of meetings on its study of I-81. The study, as directed by the General Assembly, is meant to “identify targeted improvement along I-81 and potential revenue sources that could be dedicated to improvements.” more
The three public bus systems in the New River Valley have announced workshop dates where you can participate in improving the region’s transit systems. This is part of the Transit Development Plan that will look at current service and future needs.
This fun adventure on the New River Trail offers three distances (5, 12.5, and 21 miles), and all three rides are “out and back” cruises starting and ending at the Depot. All three use the Dora Connector to the New River Trail.
Registration will start at 9 a.m. at the Pulaski Train Station, where riders will begin at the head of the Dora Trail at 10 a.m. Participation costs $20 in advance and $30 for day of registration to benefit the Ratcliffe Museum.

(May 1st 2017) – The organizers of the 7th Annual Bike Shorts Film Festival are pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Juried Prize, Best Local Film, Best Original music, Best Teen Film, and first Audience Choice awards. RIDE Solutions received 15 videos representing local, national, and international filmmakers for the 2017 festival.
