Bike-In Movie Night: Double Feature

Capture that old drive-in feel with a bike-in double feature at The Green Goat, just off the Roanoke River Greenway. Ride your bike, roll out a blanket on the lawn, and enjoy two classic movies on the Downshift – Hand Crafted Bikes & Brews big screen.

Don’t have a bike? Use Zagster and ride to the nearby Wasena Station. Sign up for Zagster here, bike.zagster.com/ridesolutions

Drink and food specials available all night from The Green Goat while you watch. Door prizes for all who show up for the first screening, including free passes to River Rock Climbing Gym and more!

Tonight’s features:
– The kid-friendly Pee Wee’s Big Adventure is the quintessential tale of a man-boy and his bike. When Pee-Wee Herman gets his beloved bike stolen in broad daylight, he sets out across the U.S. on the adventure of his life.
– After intermission, grown-ups can hang around for the 1950s black and white classic Night of the Living Dead by George Romero. This film launched the zombie move craze on a shoestring budget. Mixing horror with social commentary, it remains a pinnacle of the genre to this day.

Ride your bike or take a Zagster (just show your ride receipt) to get in free. $5 per person for all other attendees.
