ConnectingVA Ride Home Rewards

A program that provides a safety net

The ConnectingVA Ride Home Rewards benefit covers members who commute to work by transit, vanpool or carpool. If you face an unforeseen work or family emergency. ConnectingVAs Ride Home Rewards will get you home or to your car at a park-and-ride lot when something unexpected happens that causes you to be unable to catch your carpool, vanpool or bus ride home.

Eligible commuters may use the ConnectingVA Ride Home Rewards program up to six (6) times annually from their ConnectingVA account activation date, with a maximum of two (2) trips in any month. Commuters must meet the eligibility criteria and agree to adhere to the requirements and operations of the program.

Terms and Conditions

To qualify for reimbursement you must:

  • Be a RIDE Solutions member via the ConnectingVA App.
  • The account member must have used and logged an alternative mode trip (carpool, vanpool, transit) to travel to work for the day you are requesting the reimbursement.
  • Rides are provided only from the member’s work location to the member’s home or where the vehicle is parked (e.g., park-and-ride lot)
  • Hours of opperation: Monday thriugh Friday, 7 am – 7 PM.
  • The member must have a work location (must be an official employer location, not a home or public Wi-Fi location) in the RIDE Solutions service area.
