This month, RIDE Solutions is actively promoting the program throughout the West Piedmont Planning District, via two job fairs. These events are paramount for making employers, employees, and the general public alike, aware of the program.
On Thursday, April 11th, we were present at the Patrick County Showcase, a job fair in Stuart, Patrick County. While there, significant networking with businesses and other area organizations took place. The brand was promoted to organizations such as SOVAH Health, the Reynolds Homestead, Patrick Henry Community College, the Results Companies, and more. While we mostly promote our program to Virginia-based companies, several North-Carolina based organizations were present, which included Surry Community College, as well as a local hospital in that vicinity. RIDE Solutions can benefit those two entities, as long as one end of the commute ends or begins in Virginia. It was a delight to have met so many organizational and business representatives in Patrick County, and to have promoted the program there.
This Thursday, April 18th, RIDE Solutions will be present at a job fair at Danville Community College in the City of Danville, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the institution’s Student Center. This job fair will be vital to the promotion of the RIDE Solutions brand, as all of the previous events have taken place in Martinsville/Henry County and Patrick County up to this point. The City of Danville and Pittsylvania County are home to many businesses large and small, as well as a number of industrial/business parks; therefore, this event will provide a great opportunity to promote brand awareness of RIDE Solutions in that part of the West Piedmont Region.
